Ett nytt Teologiskt Forum har skapats på internet.
Teologiskt Forum för samtal och diskussion har skapats av Digby Stuart Research Centre for Religion, Society and Human Flourishing (DSRC) – University of Roehampton i London.
”Med anledning av att University of San Diego givit återbud till Tina Beattie som gästföreläsare har frågor uppkommit som är av grundläggande intresse
to all Catholics who seek an intelligent and informed engagement with Church teaching, supported by academic theologians, and who wish to remain open to debate and challenge in the quest for truth in the context of modern society and the responsibilities of good citizenship as well as faithful discipleship. Church teachings on issues of social justice and sexual ethics belong within that aspect of Catholic theology which is contingent, contextual and open to interpretation and development in the light of new social, scientific and intellectual challenges. This is not relativism, and there will always be debates as to where the boundary between revealed doctrine and natural theology should be drawn.”

Även katolska yrkesteologer måste ju ÄNTLIGEN tillåtas att i tal och skrift debattera och diskutera utan att riskera att straffas genom förbud att gästföreläsa eller genom att helt förlora sin undervisningsrättighet eller genom att få Notifikationer (varningar) utfärdade av Troskongregationen som alltid anser sig ha rätt till sista ordet och rätt att vingklippa människans tankar.
Undrar vad biskop Müller – nye prefekten i Troskongregationen – anser om det nya initiativet i England där välutbildade katolska yrkesteologer nu ger sig ut i internetsfären för att tillsammans med teologiskt nyfikna och intresserade lekmän utforska vad ANDEN kan lära oss i vår samtid.
