Låt oss tillsammans ge påven en chans att visa att han är en god herde.

Röstförklaring till mitt undertecknande: i väntan på genomgripande reformer av celibatära mäns monopol på prästämbetet hoppas jag påven dels ger en allmän amnesti till alla som exkommunicerats på ideologiska grunder, dels ger direktiv om ett allmänt införande av Ordets liturgi med kommunionutdelning så att Jesu ord kan praktiseras: ”… där två eller tre är samlade i mitt namn är jag mitt ibland dem.” Husförsamlingen är Kyrkans ursprungliga form.
I övrigt delar jag Kyrkoherdeinitiativets uppfattning:
”The “Ex-Communication” of Martha and Gert Heizer does indeed signal the end of communication in the sense of an open and fair dispute. This way of proceeding is not only completely out of proportion, but it shows the inability of the leadership of our Church to settle differences of opinion and conflicts in accordance with the gospel in a kind and loving way.”
Ordförande Helmut Schuller skriver också:
”Pastors’ Initiative sees Eucharist and priestly office as belonging together – as long as the Church is able to provide priests to its communities, who share peoples’ lives and share their journey of faith.”
”… the church reform movements have advocated for a long time that the priesthood should be open to married men and women and that the with the participation of the citizens of the Church new forms of leading the communities should be developed.”
Det måste vara möjligt att se saken från mer än ett håll: förankring i och förnyelse av traditionen.
